USPS DATA BREACH

In light of the recent USPS Human Resources Database Intrusion, you may be concerned regarding your account information here at First Credit Union of Scranton.  We have not received confirmation from the USPS that the affected database housed personal account information.  At this time we are recommending that you monitor your accounts frequently, whether on our On-line banking site, First Link, our Telephone system or by personal visits to our branches.  We have on hand information that can help you monitor your account here as well as other accounts you may have.  You may find additional resources at:

It is a way of attempting to acquire sensitive information such as user names, passwords and credit card details by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication like e-mail or instant messaging to lure the unsuspecting public.
